  1. In the Utu pattern the chart says 1/2 RPT and it takes 3 stitches. I know RPT takes 2 stitches so am I to use the second stitch of the first RPT and pick up the 3rd stitch to RPT twice, in total? I can't find anything on You Tube to describe this stitch. Thanks in advance.

    1. Dear Kathryn,

There are 2 sts RPT and 3 sts RPT in this pattern. Please see their explanations in the abbreviations.

  2. There are no instructions in the Abbreviations. The chart reads 1 / 2 RPT and the closest in the Abbreviations is 1 / 2 RPTC which reads 3 sts right slanting (purl, twist).... Can you confirm it is the same instructions please.

    1. I assume you’re reading the pattern from Laine and not from my Ravelry pdf? In Laine the abbreviations accidentaly had the C letters. RPT = RPTC.

  3. Hi there!

I am very new to knitting and discovered your hubby hat on Love knitting. Thank you so much for this it has given me a bit of confidence om using smaller yarn.

I am having a little difficulty in the decreases and have tried various methods of k2tog then ssk but still end up with a big gap. Could I ask if you have any suggestions? I'm sure it's something I haven't quite mastered but none of the ssk methods seem to be working for me. :(

    Thanks!

  4. Bonjour,
j'adore le modèle "Lötkö". Je voudrai savoir quelles sont les références des fils utilisés (tussah tweed) et combien il en faut pour un pull taille L. Car en France, ces fils sont introuvables en boutique.
    Merci

  8. Hello Anna. I am doing your lovely Gladiolus pattern using the same John Arbon Supreme colours you used. The CC2 colour you used is Quartz but looks more like Mr Smoke in the picture. Which is correct?

  9. Hi, I am knitting Shake It Up. I am on section 13 where I need to pick up stitches. Any chance there is a video tutorial for this? I picked up according to the tip but that gives me too many stitches.
